As an apprentice, you will fully commit to the 20% off-the-job training requirements of the role, alongside your normal day to day job. This is managed through 1 day per week at college.
You will have the opportunity to be apart of a high performing team and to develop the behaviours, knowledge and professional skills to be a part of that team. As part of the apprenticeship programme, you will commit to this professional development plan at the start.
As a Manufacturing Apprentice, you will be based within both the Melt-Out and CNC departments, gaining hands-on experience across two key areas of our advanced composite manufacturing process.
You will learn to manufacture and prepare a range of components, patterns, moulds and tooling, working to strict safety, quality and production requirements. The apprenticeship will provide you with the opportunity to develop practical manufacturing skills while gaining an understanding of how CNC machining and Melt-Out processes contribute to the production of high-quality composite components.
Working alongside experienced members of the team, you will develop your technical knowledge, practical skills and understanding of engineering drawings, manufacturing processes, quality standards and production requirements.
This role is part of an apprenticeship scheme which will lead to a qualification and/or company standard approval process.
