Job summary

Corza Medical in Taunton, England is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our Sutures Converting production team on a temporary contractor basis. You will contribute to the manufacture of medical devices, performing tasks such as hand knot tying, ultrasonic welding, and winding small spools, while adhering to GMP procedures.

The role requires prior production experience, excellent attention to detail, dexterity, and the ability to read process docs in English.

Qualifications

• Previous production experience in a manufacturing setting (Machine Operator, Production Operative or similar).
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to notice tiny defects.
• High dexterity and hand-eye coordination; dexterity test may be required.
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture medical devices by producing products through hand-knot tying and other processes.
• Perform ultrasonic welding to join components and wind small spools using coiling equipment.
• Adhere to GMP procedures and batch documentation throughout production.

Job Purpose Summary

We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Technicianto join our Sutures Converting production department. The successful candidates will play a part in the manufacturing of medical devices by producing products through hand-knot tying, creating loops by welding two ends together using an ultrasonic welding machine, winding small spools using coiling equipment whilst following GMP procedures.

What you will need

• Previous experience in a production setting (Machine Operator, Production Operative or similar)
• Exceptional attention to detail, ability to notice tiny defects
• Must possess a high degree of dexterity and hand-eye coordination, passing a dexterity test will be required
• Experience of working accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to speak, read and write clearly in English, understand, and follow process documentation and technical procedures
• Have a can-do attitude, be flexible and reliable.

Shifts Available

• Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 16:00, 40 hours per week (inclusive of paid breaks)

Pay

• £12.71per hour
