Job summary

Precision People in Leicester is seeking an experienced Manuel Machinest to join a busy manufacturing team on a temp-to-perm basis. Shifts run Mon-Thu 08:00-16:30 and Fri 08:00-12:30, with immediate start and overtime paid at a premium.

The role involves setting and operating manual milling and lathe machines to produce prototypes and standard parts, following engineering drawings. Ideal candidates will have prior manual milling/lathe experience, ability to read basic drawings, and a strong eye

Qualifications

• Previous Manuel milling and Lathe experience.
• Ability to read and work from basic engineering drawings.
• Experience producing prototype parts is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Setting and operating manual milling and lathe machines.
• Working from engineering drawings to produce parts.
• Producing prototypes and one-offs with high quality.
• Supporting the team to meet production targets.
• Keeping the work area clean and organised.
