Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Manual Machinist in Croydon. You will set and operate manual lathes, mills, drills, boring and grinding machines from engineering drawings to tight tolerances.

A background in manual machining, apprenticeship or mechanical qualification is preferred. The role offers a secure, long-term contract with training, progression and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience operating conventional machinery such as lathes, mills and grinders.
• Able to read engineering drawings and machine to tight tolerances.
• Based in Croydon; commutable.

Responsibilities

• Setting and operating manual lathes, mills, drills, boring and grinding machines.
• Precise measurement using calipers and micrometers.
• Work 36.5-hour week with standard Monday to Friday schedule.
