We are currently seeking skilled Manual Machinists to join our team. While time-served machinists are preferred, this is not essential. You will be responsible for machining centrifugally spun castings in a variety of stainless steel alloys,
Key Responsibilities:
Machine large castings to engineering drawings and specified tolerances
Operate a range of manual machines, including lathes and vertical borers
Deliver work within production time frames
Conduct visual inspections of machined components
Accurately mark swarf drums for alloy identification
Work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision
Maintain high safety standards in accordance with company policies
Required Skills and Experience:
Minimum 3 years' machining experience in a manufacturing environment
Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Confident working to tight tolerances and using precision measuring tools
Strong attention to detail
Ability to manage pressure and meet deadlines
Self-motivated and able to contribute effectively to team operations
Willingness to work shifts and overtime as required
Solid understanding of health & safety, environmental, and quality standards
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
