Job summary

Kenect Recruitment Ltd. is seeking Mandarin-speaking Warehouse Operatives for a night-shift role at a Birmingham area site. You will work 10:00pm to 6:00am, handling stock, packing and loading duties while communicating in Mandarin with colleagues and the warehouse system.

Training and ongoing agency support are provided. Candidates should be comfortable with heavy lifting, reading Mandarin for system use, and working as part of a team to hit daily targets.

Qualifications

• Good physically able for heavy lifting and manual work.

Responsibilities

• Stock taking and checking inventory with the warehouse system.

We are currently recruiting for Mandarin-speaking Warehouse Operatives to join our client's busy warehouse team on a night shift, working 10:00pm - 6:00am.

The successful candidates will be required to use Mandarin to communicate with colleagues and operate the warehouse system, so good spoken and written Mandarin is essential.

This is a hands-on warehouse role involving a variety of duties, including stock taking, picking, packing, sorting stock, pallet wrapping and working with containers. The role can involve heavy lifting, so applicants must be comfortable with physically demanding work.

Key Responsibilities

• Stock taking and checking inventory levels using the warehouse system.
• Using the warehouse system in Mandarin to complete relevant tasks and update stock information.
• Picking orders accurately and efficiently.
• Packing goods ready for dispatch.
• Sorting and organising stock within the warehouse.
• Loading and unloading containers.
• Pallet wrapping and preparing pallets for dispatch.
• Moving stock around the warehouse safely.
• Carrying out manual handling and heavy lifting.
• Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe.
• Following all health and safety procedures.
• Communicating effectively with Mandarin-speaking colleagues and supervisors.
• Working as part of a team to meet daily targets.

What We’re Looking For
