Base pay range

Wonderful opportunity for a MANDARIN speaker with a Executive Assistant background. This is a well-established food import/export business that specialises in importing specialists food products from China and supplies supermarkets and restaurant chains around the UK and internationally. The company has gone through a recent explosion in growth because of the increased interest in home-cooking that started during Covid. People are now experimenting with new flavours and new dishes and this company has been able to expand strongly to accommodate increasingly sophisticated and international dishes. In this role you will first contact to the senior management team and use your expertise to support the business’s growth plans. It’s a senior role and you will use your Mandrin and English daily and you will assist the CEO on strategy execution, Drive collaboration across departments. It’s a lovely role for someone looking to take their next step to be a part of the senior management team

Location: Erith

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Execution: Break down and oversee key initiatives, ensuring alignment with the President’s vision and corporate goals.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Drive collaboration across departments to optimize workflows and execution.
  • Organizational Optimization: Assess and refine internal structures, role definitions, and performance systems for maximum efficiency.
  • Performance & Accountability: Develop and monitor KPIs to ensure delegated tasks meet strategic objectives.
  • Executive Support: Manage high-priority operations, communications, and decision-making processes at the leadership level.

Key Requirement:

  • A strategic thinker with 6+ years in executive support, project management, or business leadership.
  • Deep expertise in corporate strategy, organizational design, and performance management.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, multitasking, and interpersonal skills—able to navigate high-pressure scenarios with professionalism.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential.
  • A Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field.
