International Financial Institution in London seeks a Mandarin-speaking Assistant FX Trader to support the Global Markets desk. You will manage daily FX and precious metals positions, provide quotations to customers, and ensure activity stays within authorised limits and regulatory requirements.

Location: London. Job Type: Full-time. Department: Global Markets. You will work shifts including overnight coverage to support trading needs.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in a bank or financial institution.
• Practical knowledge of FX, interest-rate markets or related market operations.
• Strong awareness of compliance, risk and confidentiality.
• Excellent Mandarin and English (spoken and written).
• Good communication and coordination skills under pressure.
• Willingness to work shifts including overnight coverage.

Are you fluent in Mandarin and interested in developing your career in FX trading? An international financial institution is looking for a Mandarin-speaking Assistant FX Trader to join its London Global Markets team. You will support the day-to-day management of foreign exchange and precious metals positions, provide quotations to customers and market makers, and help ensure trading activity is carried out within authorised limits and regulatory requirements.

Responsibility

• Manage daily FX and precious metals positions and customer platforms within authorised trading and risk limits.
• Provide and monitor accurate quotations for customers and market makers.
• Support trading activities and monitor market trends, sharing updates with the General Manager when required.
• Report transaction data in line with applicable UK and Chinese regulatory requirements.
• Follow local banking regulations and internal compliance procedures.
• Provide trading support and assist with other team duties as required.

Requirement

• A bachelor's degree or above in Economics, Finance or a related subject.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in a bank or financial institution.
• Practical knowledge of FX, interest-rate markets or related market operations.
• Strong awareness of compliance, risk and confidentiality.
• Excellent spoken and written Mandarin and English.
• Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
• Flexibility to work shifts and provide overnight trading coverage.
