Job Title: MANDARIN Network and Security Engineer

Location: London

Work style: Onsite office-based role

Salary: Up to £75,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

• Security Monitoring & Incident Response: Monitor security tools, investigate alerts, and assist in incident response.
• Vulnerability Management: Conduct assessments and support patching and risk mitigation.
• Network Access Control (NAC): Configure switches, troubleshoot Cisco IP Phone/IPC services.
• Network Administration: Configure switches, perform health checks, provide after-hours support.
• Compliance & Collaboration: Ensure security standards, coordinate checks, liaise with global IT teams, document processes.

Skills & Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s in IT/Computer Science (preferred)

Experience: Minimum 3 years in IT support (network/security/IP telephony)

Technical Skills:

• Experience with OSPF, BGP, STP, NAC, and IPT (Cisco)
• Proficiency with network monitoring, NDR, SIEM systems
• Knowledge of vulnerability assessment tools and patch management

Soft Skills: Strong communication, ability to work under pressure, handle emergencies
