Job summary

SSR Contract & Technical is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver fire sprinkler installation projects safely, on time, within budget, and in line with customer and regulatory requirements in the Manchester area.

You will lead from handover to completion, coordinate with clients, suppliers and site teams, and manage programmes, cost forecasts and documentation while maintaining high health and safety standards across UK sites.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage large-scale construction projects.
• Knowledge of BS EN 12845 and LPS 1048 standards.
• CSCS/SMSTS and relevant CDM qualifications.
• Experience with cost control and budgeting.
• Strong communication with clients and teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from handover through to completion.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, design teams and site personnel.
• Develop and maintain project programmes and cost forecasts.
• Manage labour, materials, subcontractors and project documentation.
• Ensure health, safety, quality and industry standards compliance.
• Conduct site inspections and toolbox talks.
• Identify variations, final accounts and commercial performance.
• Oversee close-out including certifications and as-fitted drawings.
