Zusammenfassung

Fortem is recruiting a Managing Quantity Surveyor for the Stonewater Housing contract, based in Chippenham, Wiltshire. You will lead commercial strategies, manage budgets and deliver robust cost control across repairs, maintenance, and capital works.

Essentially, you will optimise cashflow, produce governance reports, and mentor the team. A QS degree and 5+ years’ contract experience are expected, with strong Excel and negotiation skills throughout.

Qualifikationen

• QS degree or equivalent training or a minimum of 5 years relevant contract experience.
• Excellent data interrogation and Excel skills (V-Lookup, Pivot tables and formulas).
• Negotiating, communication and presentation skills. Driving licence.

Aufgaben

• Ensure full entitlement under the contract and drive commercial negotiations.
• Oversee the application schedule of rates and act as SME for contractual matters.
• Maximise cash flow via monthly invoicing and resolve client queries promptly.
• Monitor and analyse management information and job costs vs revenue.
• Provide accurate cashflow forecasts and revenue profiles and update regularly.
• Prepare financial reports: CVR, CVC and management accounts with cost control.
• Coordinate IT integration between client systems and Fortem’s for efficiency.
