Mane Contract Services is seeking an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor to join our Overhead Lines Commercial Team, supporting the commercial delivery of major infrastructure and utility projects in the UK. You will maximise project profitability, manage commercial risk, and build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Qualified Quantity Surveyor with relevant commercial experience.
• Experience on infrastructure, utilities or major projects.
• Knowledge of NEC3/NEC4, contract law and commercial management.
• Experience in subcontract management, valuations, variations and claims.
• Strong IT skills, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

You'll play a key role in maximising project profitability, managing commercial risk, and supporting project teams, while building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

About You

• Qualified Quantity Surveyor with relevant commercial experience.
• Experience working on infrastructure, utilities or major projects.
• Knowledge of the Electrical Transmission / Overhead Lines sector is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of NEC3/NEC4, contract law and commercial management.
• Experience in subcontract management, valuations, variations and claims.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent IT skills, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Commercially astute with a strong understanding of project costs and profitability.
