Managing Quantity Surveyor - Civil Engineering - Leicestershire - c£86k + Package

If you've reached the point in your commercial career where you want to lead a team rather than simply manage a larger workload, this could be a very good move. I'm working with a successful, family-run civil engineering contractor looking for a Managing Quantity Surveyor to take responsibility for an established commercial team and a business unit turning over approximately £40m per year.

You'll lead a team of seven Quantity Surveyors working across a varied portfolio of highways, infrastructure, bridgeworks and public realm projects throughout the Midlands and East of England. Alongside overseeing the commercial performance of the projects, you'll work closely with the senior management team, providing commercial direction, supporting and developing your QSs and helping shape the continued growth of the division.

They are looking for someone with a strong civil engineering background who has already managed or mentored commercial teams and is comfortable operating at a more senior level with clients, operational management and directors.
