Are you an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor looking for your next step into senior commercial leadership?
Intersect Global is working with a major civil engineering contractor that is looking to appoint a Managing Quantity Surveyor to take commercial responsibility for a high-volume water infrastructure framework in London.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Managing Quantity Surveyor, Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager looking to develop their career, with a clear and realistic pathway to Commercial Manager.
The framework delivers essential water infrastructure works throughout London, with an annual value of approximately £70m and monthly turnover of around £1.5m.
You will take a lead role in the commercial management of a high-volume, low-value programme, managing a team and ensuring the commercial performance of the framework is maximised.
Individual works typically range from £2,500 to £50,000, creating a fast-paced commercial environment where strong financial controls, contract knowledge and effective team management are essential.
We are looking for an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor with strong commercial management experience gained within civil engineering, utilities or infrastructure.
Ideally, you will have:
Experience of working under the exact contract is not essential. Strong contract knowledge from another major infrastructure or utilities environment will be considered, provided you have the commercial agility to quickly understand and apply new contractual terms.
