Datatech Analytics seeks a Managing Consultant to lead its expanding Energy & Utilities data science practice in London. You will shape client data strategies and drive AI-enabled analytics across water, electricity, gas, nuclear, and critical infrastructure.

You’ll join the management team to build and lead teams, win and grow business, and guide clients through complex data and digital challenges. The role requires senior leadership, broad sector contacts, and a track record of delivering

• Proven leadership or consulting in data science.
• Track record delivering analytics from design to scale.
• Senior stakeholder network in energy/utilities.
• Experience selling analytical propositions.

Help power the energy transition. A leading management and technology consultancy is growing its established Energy & Utilities data science practice, and it needs a Managing Consultant to lead the charge.

You’ll shape how clients across water, electricity, gas, nuclear and critical infrastructure use data and AI.

What you’ll do

• Join the management team: build and lead teams, and launch new data and analytics propositions
• Win and grow business: own client relationships and outcomes
• Guide energy and utilities clients through complex data and digital challenges
• Coach and develop a high calibre team through technical leadership
• Contribute to thought leadership and market offerings

What you bring

• Demonstrable successful experience in data science leadership and/or consulting, ideally in energy, utilities or infrastructure
• A record of taking AI, analytics and data capability from design to scale
• A senior stakeholder network across the sector or the wider data and technology industry
• Commercial edge: you’ve built and sold analytical propositions
• Degree, MSc or PhD in data science, maths, OR, physics or statistics
• Desirable: existing relationships and delivery in water, electricity, gas, nuclear or infrastructure
