Job summary

Interpath Advisory in the UK is seeking a skilled corporate tax professional for our Leeds office. The role covers UK corporate tax and transaction tax matters, with ownership of projects and mentoring junior team members.

You will advise on due diligence, reorganisations, M&A transactions, and tax risk assessments, while managing client relationships and supporting business development in a fast-growing practice.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or Chartered Accountant qualification
• CTA qualification or equivalent professional tax qualification
• Strong UK Corporate Tax experience in professional services, tax advisory or accounting
• Experience in transaction tax including due diligence, M&A, acquisitions, disposals, restructurings
• Strong knowledge of UK corporation tax legislation and its practical application
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver high-quality advisory work
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with senior stakeholders
• Strong project management skills and ability to prioritise multiple deadlines
• Experience mentoring junior team members
• Proactive, commercial mindset and growth contribution

Responsibilities

• Managing transaction tax assignments, including tax due diligence, transaction structuring, and tax risk assessments for acquisitions and disposals
• Advising clients on corporate reorganisations, group restructurings, refinancing transactions, and other strategic projects
• Supporting restructuring and insolvency engagements by providing commercially focused tax advice
• Managing client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor on tax matters
• Overseeing the preparation and review of technical tax analyses, reports, and client deliverables
• Collaborating with colleagues across restructuring, debt advisory, and transaction services teams to deliver integrated solutions
• Managing project delivery, budgets, and timelines across multiple engagements
• Coaching, mentoring, and developing junior members of the team to support a high-performance culture
• Supporting business development initiatives, preparing proposals, identifying opportunities, and contributing to thought leadership activities

This role will provide exposure to a broad range of UK corporate tax and transaction tax matters, while offering the opportunity to take ownership of projects, develop junior team members, and contribute to the growth of the practice.

• ACA, ACCA, or equivalent Chartered Accountant qualification
• CTA qualified or qualified through an equivalent professional tax qualification
• Strong UK Corporate Tax experience gained within a professional services, tax advisory, or accounting environment
• Experience in transaction tax, including tax due diligence, M&A transactions, acquisitions, disposals, and corporate restructurings
• Strong technical knowledge of UK corporation tax legislation and its practical application
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver high-quality advisory work
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to engage effectively with senior stakeholders
• Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritise multiple competing deadlines
• Experience managing and developing junior team members
• A proactive, commercial mindset and a desire to contribute to the continued growth of the practice
• Experience working with private equity-backed businesses, mid-market clients, or multinational groups would be advantageous
