FTSE Russell, part of LSEG, is seeking an experienced Manager in Quantitative Research & Development in London. You will lead the design and execution of AI-enabled research workflows and analytics for equity and multi-asset indices.

You will collaborate with Research, Engineering, Technology, Data Operations and Sales to deliver innovative index capabilities and client-focused solutions, leveraging your ten+ years of quantitative and software development experience.

Qualifikationen

• Approx. 10 years of experience spanning quantitative research, development or related fields.
• Strong Python and SQL skills, with experience in CI/CD and cloud computing.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, VS Code) and modern software practices.
• Solid understanding of equity markets and quantitative investment techniques: regression, optimisation, factor investing, risk modelling.
• Experience with financial databases and platforms (Worldscope, IBES, Lipper, Datastream, Refinitiv Workspace).

Aufgaben

• Develop and maintain quantitative research, analytics and automation platforms.
• Build AI-enabled workflows, tools and agents to improve research, operations and client support.
• Support quantitative research initiatives, investment analytics and index methodology development.
• Investigate and resolve data, analytics and operational issues with high quality standards.
• Drive improvements in research infrastructure, development processes and CI/CD practices.
• Partner with Research, Engineering, Technology, Product, Data Operations and Sales to meet objectives.
• Provide analytical support and respond to internal/external data/methodology inquiries.
• Contribute across the full lifecycle from idea to deployment and client delivery.
