The Team

As a national practice, our FO&PC team consists of 162 members across the UK, led by 5 Partners, 3 Associate Partners, and 12 Directors.

We operate in five core service areas:

• Transactions and Entrepreneurial Shareholders
• Ultra High Net Worth Individuals
• International
• Partnerships
• Investigations and Enquiries

Our clients include high net worth individuals, stakeholders in private and entrepreneurial businesses, executives of multinational firms, landed estates, and private equity members, often with international tax considerations. We also advise Trusts, Estates, and Partnerships.

The Role

We seek a Manager to join our FO & PC team in the North and Scotland (Edinburgh or Glasgow). This advisory role involves working with high net worth individuals on UK and international tax issues, as well as entrepreneurial businesses and shareholder-owned companies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality personal tax services to clients
• Manage a diverse portfolio of complex clients, providing advice on inheritance tax, capital gains, income tax, and international tax matters
• Develop bespoke tax solutions through original and creative thinking
• Project manage tax advisory assignments, ensuring deadlines and compliance
• Oversee work in progress, billing, and cash collection
• Supervise and develop junior staff

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Qualified accountant or tax adviser with personal tax experience
• Strong academic results and insightful understanding of private client issues
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• Ability to deliver bespoke tax solutions and work independently or as part of a team
• Commercial approach and high analytical skills
