Job summary

CSC seeks an experienced Manager of KYC Services to oversee daily Know Your Customer operations across Jersey, London, and Gorey. The role requires strong leadership, policy development, and proactive risk management to ensure AML/CTF compliance and industry standards.

The successful candidate will guide a team of KYC professionals, collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Front Office, and Onboarding teams, and drive improvements in processes, controls, and technology adoption.

Qualifications

Bachelor-level degree or equivalent in business, finance, law, or related field.
Advanced qualifications (ACAMS/CKYCA) are a plus.
Strong leadership and regulatory knowledge required.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the KYC team to ensure regulatory compliance.
Develop and maintain KYC policies, procedures, and controls.
Monitor customer activity and report suspicious transactions.
Stay informed on FATF, EU AML directives, and similar guidance.
Coordinate audits, inspections, and regulatory examinations as needed.
Drive process improvement and automation within KYC operations.
Collaborate with Risk, Legal, and Internal Audit as needed.
Mentor team members and promote continuous learning.

Weareseekinganexperiencedanddetail-orientedManagerKYCServicestooverseedailyoperationsoftheKnowYourCustomer(KYC)team.TheManagerKYCServicesensuresthattheorganizationadherestoregulatoryrequirementsandindustrystandardsincustomeridentification,duediligence,andantimoneylaundering(AML)practices.

ThisroleinvolvesleadingateamofKYCprofessionals,developingandimplementingKYCpoliciesandprocedures,andcollaboratingwithvariousdepartmentstomitigateriskandmaintaincompliance.TheManagerKYCServicesplaysacriticalroleinprotectingtheorganizationfromfinancialcrimeandreputationalrisks.Theidealcandidatewillhavestrongleadershipskills,asolidunderstandingofKYCrequirements,andaproactiveapproachtoriskmanagementandteamdevelopment.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership&oversight:

Fosteracultureofcompliance,continuousimprovement,andoperationalexcellencewithintheKYCfunction.
Provideday-to-daysupervision,guidance,andsupporttoKYCanalysts.

KYCProgramManagement:

Develop,implement,andmaintainKYCpolicies,procedures,andcontrolstoensurecompliancewithregulatoryrequirements(e.g.,AML,CTF).
Ensureongoingmonitoringofcustomeractivitiestoidentifyandreportsuspicioustransactionsorbehaviors.
RegulatoryCompliance:-Stayinformedofregulatorydevelopments,trends,andbestpracticesrelatedtoKYC,AML,andCTF.
Ensuretheorganization’sKYCprocessesalignwithlocalandinternationalregulations,suchastheFATFrecommendations,EUAMLdirectives,andothers.

Liaisewithregulatoryauthoritiesandparticipateinaudits,inspections,andregulatoryexaminationsasneeded.

ProcessImprovement&Documentation:

Ensureproceduresareconsistentlyfollowedandeffectivelycommunicatedtoteammembers.
Identifyopportunitiesforautomationorefficiencyandpartnerwithrelevantstakeholdersforimplementation.

RiskManagement:

Identify,assess,andmitigaterisksassociatedwiththeKYCprocess,includingmoneylaundering,terroristfinancing,andotherfinancialcrimes.
Collaboratewithotherdepartments,suchasRiskManagement,Legal,andInternalAudit,toensureacohesiveapproachtoriskmanagementandcompliance
Performqualitycontrolchecksandensureadherencetointernalpolicies,regulatorystandards(e.g.,AML,CDD,EDD),andbestpractices.
Technology&Innovation:-DrivetheadoptionoftechnologyandautomationinKYCprocessestoimproveefficiency,accuracy,andcustomerexperience.
EvaluateandimplementKYCsoftwaresolutions,ensuringtheymeettheorganization’sneedsandregulatoryrequirements.

StakeholderEngagement:

ActasliaisonbetweentheKYCteamandcompliance,legal,frontoffice,oronboardingteamstoresolveissuesandclarifyrequirements.
Fosteraknowledge-sharingculturebymentoringteammembersandpromotingcontinuouslearning.

Technicalskills,experience,andqualification

Education:Bachelor’sdegreeinBusiness,Finance,Law,orarelatedfield.AMaster’sdegreeorprofessionalcertifications(e.g.,ACAMS,CKYCA)isaplus.
Experience:Minimumof8-10yearsofexperienceinKYC,AML,orcomplianceroles,withatleast5yearsinaleadershipormanagementposition.
Knowledge:In-depthknowledgeofKYC,AML,andCTFregulationsandindustrybestpractices.Familiaritywithglobalregulatoryframeworksandthefinancialservicesindustry.
