Job summary

EDF in the UK is seeking a Manager of Data Insight to turn large data sets into actionable business intelligence. You will transform complex information into clear reporting and collaborate with Finance, Data and operations to drive evidence-based decisions.

The role offers hybrid working with office days in London or Hove, a circa £65k salary depending on experience, and a market-leading pension, EV leasing and other flexible benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience analysing and interpreting large, complex data sets using Snowflake or a comparable cloud-based data platform.
• Strong SQL and Power BI capability for building reporting and dashboards that support decision-making.
• Experience producing finance, revenue, cost, customer, gross margin or performance reporting and analysis.
• Ability to identify trends, root causes, risks and opportunities and translate findings into clear recommendations for stakeholders.
• Experience improving data quality, controls, governance processes or reporting frameworks to deliver sustainable business improvements.

The Opportunity

As a Manager of Data Insight, you'll play a key role in helping Finance and the wider business make better decisions through data. You'll transform complex information into actionable insight, improve reporting confidence, and support the delivery of strategic and commercial objectives across EDF.

Alongside a salary of circa £65,000 per annum depending upon experience, you'll have the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, combining home working with office-based collaboration at either our #Hove or #London sites a couple of times per week. You'll work closely with colleagues across Finance, Data and operational teams, helping deliver meaningful outcomes through evidence-based decision-making.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with commercial thinking. You'll work with large, complex data sets, shape reporting and governance processes, and help drive improvements that enhance data quality, insight generation and business performance.
