Life Sciences at Moorhouse

Our Life Sciences sector is vital to our business, experiencing double-digit growth recently. It’s an exciting environment where we push boundaries in capabilities, project types, and impact—helping clients respond to disruptive technologies, implement innovative products, deliver change programs, and define operating models and organizational design.

Our expertise covers the entire value chain—from R&D and clinical development to commercial and post-market support, including support functions like digital, technology, and HR. We focus on four core areas: Commercial, Medical Affairs, R&D Development, and Global Health, Access & Sustainability. We partner with global pharmaceutical companies (e.g., GSK, AstraZeneca, Bayer) on projects ranging from large-scale transformations to targeted team support, aiming to maximize business value and social impact for better patient outcomes.

We seek a Manager to lead project delivery and drive sector growth. Our team is small (~12 people), collaborative, and plays a key role in managing and expanding our Life Sciences sector and delivering critical client transformations.

Essential skills

What are we looking for?

As a Manager, you will have:

  • 6–8 years of experience from a management consulting firm working on transformation and change projects.
  • Exceptional delivery, advisory, and transformation skills, with experience leading workstreams or initiatives independently.
  • Experience in programme delivery, change management, operational excellence, process improvement, operating model design, systems implementation, project management, strategy & insights, or organization design.
  • Knowledge and experience in Life Sciences, preferably in areas such as:
    • Commercial: go-to-market strategies, operating models, product launches, market analysis.
    • Medical Affairs: medical strategy, operations, scientific communication, training.
    • Global Health, Access & Sustainability: strategy, access programs, impact measurement.
    • R&D Development: strategy, operating models, pipeline management, regulatory planning.
  • Strong commercial awareness, business development skills, and ability to scope consulting solutions.
  • Proven leadership, capability building, coaching, and solution delivery experience.
  • A broad business problem-solving mindset, not necessarily technical or scientific expertise.
  • A passion for Life Sciences and impactful transformation work.

  • A total package of £110,000 (base salary £82,005 plus bonuses paid biannually).
  • 25 days annual leave, increasing to 30 days with service, with options to buy or sell leave.
