Position Summary

The Manager, Learning & Development is a pivotal, hands-on role focused on transforming our organisational culture from performance management to learning and development programs. You will design and implement management development programs, work collaboratively with HR and other departments, and drive initiatives that enhance employee engagement and foster a high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Learning & Development Strategy: Design and execute comprehensive learning & development programs that enhance employee skills and align with our business objectives.
  • Performance Management: Oversee and refine performance management strategies to ensure they support our strategic objectives and contribute to enhanced organisational performance.
  • Training Program Development: Research, design, and implement training programs that address both specific skills gaps and broader organisational challenges.
  • Employee Engagement and Retention: Work closely with HRBPs to boost employee engagement, morale, and retention through targeted initiatives.
  • Learning Solutions and Culture Change: Create and implement role-based learning solutions using various modalities to support the shift to a continuous coaching and feedback model.
  • Onboarding and Integration: Develop and facilitate learning communities for new hires to enhance onboarding experiences and ensure successful cultural integration.
  • Leadership and Succession Planning: Lead the talent review process, develop a bench of top talent, and focus on succession planning and leadership development to support business continuity.
  • Continuous Improvement and Feedback: Conduct periodic reviews of learning solutions to ensure they are fit for purpose, maintaining consistency and quality based on stakeholder feedback.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in creating and deploying learning and development strategy, ideally in a technology-driven, fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in adult learning theories, organisational effectiveness methodologies, and strategic change management.
  • Strong project management skills, capable of leading multiple large-scale initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Proven analytical skills to assess program effectiveness and adapt strategies as needed.
