Role Overview

This role is within Finance, supporting the delivery of the Group's Enterprise Risk Management Framework. Responsibilities include identifying, measuring, mitigating, and monitoring risks across Finance, providing an early warning system for key risk indicators.

Success will depend on relationship management with stakeholders including Technology, Compliance, Risk departments, Regional Finance teams, Internal and External Audit, key committees, and working groups.

Role Responsibilities

• Support process documentation, including consolidations, month-end close, and financial reporting;
• Assist in developing the Group's Enterprise Risk Management Framework;
• Help prepare and execute the Risk Assurance Plan, including control quality assurance and thematic reviews;
• Identify issues, observations, and remediation actions;
• Review and monitor Risk Management Standards within Finance;
• Document finance processes and related technology;
• Maintain up-to-date process and control documentation;
• Monitor risk profile and metrics, including escalation and response tracking;
• Contribute to risk assessment processes and reporting;
• Participate in projects supporting the risk framework and policies;
• Assist in risk training and fostering a risk-aware culture;
• Perform other reasonable duties as required.

Experience / Competences

Essential

• Full professional qualification in accounting, finance, or audit, or relevant experience in finance/risk management;
• Understanding of risk management frameworks, especially relating to financial reporting and finance technology;
• Knowledge of financial risks, controls testing, and change management;
• Familiarity with industry standards like COSO, COBIT, SOX;
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills;
• Effective stakeholder communication and challenge skills.
