Job description

About the Opportunity

Are you an experienced HR leader who enjoys combining people leadership, operational excellence and continuous improvement? Do you know how to create a high-quality employee experience across different countries, while making smart use of technology, data and standardized processes?
As Manager, Global People Services EMEA, you will lead and further develop our People Services delivery across the EMEA region. You will play an important role in ensuring our employees receive consistent, efficient and high-quality HR support, while continuously improving the way we work.
You will lead our Employee Experience and Functional Tier 2 Specialist teams and oversee key People Services activities across EMEA, including payroll delivery. From improving processes and service levels to leveraging Workday, data and new technologies, you will help take our People Services organization to the next level.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will combine people leadership with operational responsibility for our People Services organization across EMEA. You’ll oversee the delivery of key HR services, including payroll, and make sure our teams have what they need to deliver a great employee experience. At the same time, you’ll continuously look for opportunities to simplify processes, improve service levels and make better use of technology and data.

  • Lead, coach and develop the Employee Experience and Functional Tier 2 Specialist teams, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the day-to-day delivery of People Services, ensuring employees receive accurate, responsive and high-quality HR support.
  • Oversee payroll delivery across EMEA, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while working closely with internal stakeholders and external payroll partners.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs, service levels and productivity metrics, using insights and data to continuously improve performance and the employee experience.
  • Drive process improvements and identify opportunities to simplify, standardize and optimize HR services through Workday and other HR technologies.
  • Partner closely with Global People Services leadership, EMEA HR Business Advisory, Centers of Excellence and other HR stakeholders to support the delivery of global HR programs across EMEA.
  • Ensure HR documentation, processes and standard operating procedures are accurate and up to date.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable employment legislation, works councils and local requirements across multiple EMEA countries, including the Netherlands, UK, Spain, Portugal, Morocco and South Africa.
  • Support internal and external audits, HR projects, training and change management initiatives related to employee experience and service delivery.
  • Travel internationally and domestically when required, up to approximately 30%.
Your workplace

For this role, we work according to a 4-day office policy. This means you’ll work four days per week from the office, with the flexibility to work one day per week from home.

Why this role?

This is a great opportunity for someone who gets energy from leading people while improving how HR services are delivered. You’ll have the opportunity to make a tangible impact on the employee experience across EMEA, bringing together people, processes, technology and data in an international environment.

You will not only ensure that our People Services operation runs effectively today, but also help shape how we want to deliver HR services in the future.

Candidate Profile

We’re looking for an experienced HR professional who is comfortable leading a team while staying close to the operation. You understand what excellent HR service delivery looks like and know how to bring together people, processes, technology and data to create a better and more efficient employee experience.

  • Strong experience leading, developing and coaching teams.
  • A proven track record in HR operations, shared services, People Services or a comparable HR service delivery environment.
  • Experience with payroll operations and HR service delivery in an international or multi-country environment.
  • A strong focus on operational and process excellence, customer service and continuous improvement.
  • Experience working with HR systems and technology, ideally including Workday.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with KPIs, metrics, case or ticket data and trends.
  • The ability to navigate complex HR processes while working across different countries, cultures and regulatory environments.
  • Excellent organizational, stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • A Bachelor’s degree.
  • Fluency in English; Dutch or Spanish in addition to English is preferred.
