Business Overview

Our Clients & Strategy team covers Business Development, Investor Relations, External Relations, Sustainable Investment and Brand, Marketing & Communications, including Internal Communications.

It is responsible for all communications to investor prospects, existing investors and their asset consultants, as well as a broad range of other stakeholders, including governments and media.

The Role

This role is responsible for originating, writing, and editing compelling short and long-form copy to promote awareness of the firm and drive engagement across various channels. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of private markets and/or institutional asset management and a proven track record of producing motivating and differentiating content throughout the marketing funnel.

This role requires a high level of interaction with business partners and investment teams. The Global Content Writer will develop and maintain high-quality, best in class content and can translate complex topics into compelling but simple messages. The role will write thought leadership pieces, news, web copy and educational features, which can be leveraged across various channels including web, events, email, and social media. Key target audiences are pension funds, insurers, consultants, sovereign institutions, and high-end private wealth selectors.

Your Background & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in content writing, marketing, or communications within the financial services industry, with a focus on private markets or institutional asset management.
• Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, Marketing, Communications, Finance, or related field (professional certificates like CFA desirable)
• Collaborative team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of writing motivating and differentiating content at all points of the marketing funnel.
• Strong understanding of private markets or institutional asset management concepts, trends, and terminology.
• Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to distil complex topics into clear and engaging content.
• Ability to come up with angles, headlines, subject lines and stories which stand out from the noise and will engage the audience to read on
• Familiarity with content management systems, SEO best practices, and digital marketing tools.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and metrics to drive content optimisation.
• Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Able to proactively come up with ideas for content as well as take direction when content is not originated by the candidate
• Ability to write content across different channels including presentations, collateral / white papers, web, email, and social media.
• Assist the Head of Content in the development and execution of content strategies to ensure alignment with business objectives and target audience preferences. Bring local ideas and perspective into the global plan. Update and feed into global pipeline calendars, briefing templates etc.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including within Marketing, Brand and Communications, Global external relations, SI, investment teams, client facing teams and compliance, to ensure content accuracy, relevance, and compliance with regulatory requirements
