Job summary

Baringa Partners LLP in London is seeking a Manager, Financial Services - Risk Advisory to shape regulatory change programmes and modernise risk management for financial-services clients.

You will lead delivery, mentor teams and apply analytics to drive governance improvements across the three lines of defence.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in risk management, audit, compliance or related functions within financial services or fintech.
• Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to present risk insights clearly.
• Track record of building trusting relationships in an international environment.
• Experience with enterprise risk management frameworks such as COSO, COBIT, ISO 31000.
• Experience in risk assessment, control testing, KPI setting, risk governance and reporting.
• Proficiency with data analytics and visualization tools (MS Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience modernising risk processes through automation, AI-driven insights and digital tools, including GRC solutions.
• Excellent project management and prioritisation skills.
• Professional certifications in risk and controls management (optional).
• Consulting experience or experience in a Big 4 firm (optional).

Responsibilities

• Stay abreast of emerging risks and trends to anticipate client issues and shape innovative solutions.
• Apply traditional and emerging technologies to modernise risk management processes and culture.
• Mentor junior team members and facilitate training and coaching.
