WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, involving at least two days per week or 40% in the office.

We’re on an exciting journey to implement a new non-financial risk management model across the Group, empowering our teams to manage risks end-to-end.

This involves transforming how we handle risk management, creating a team of risk specialists to support our risk and control owners in delivering excellent customer outcomes.

About this opportunity:

We want someone with compliance expertise, innovative and proactive, who enjoys working with business leaders to develop new customer-centric opportunities.

What you'll be doing:

  • Act as a Conduct & Compliance Risk manager, representing the organisation and building relationships with external regulators and bodies.
  • Assist in measuring, monitoring, controlling, and reporting risks across the Group, providing independent challenge to risk decisions.
  • Interpret new and existing regulations, assessing their impact on the Group.
  • Help define control objectives for Conduct & Compliance Risks, ensuring business processes are compliant.
  • Identify and track Key Risk Indicators and Key Control Indicators, reporting to senior management and the Board.
  • Support risk and control owners in incident reporting, and implement corrective actions when needed.

What you’ll need:

  • Knowledge of digital customer journeys, psychology, and behavioural economics.
  • Ability to challenge and advise on platforms like Consumer Servicing and Colleague Channels.
  • Experience with RegTech and data-driven solutions to improve consumer outcomes.
  • Experience in developing group policies and setting risk appetites.
  • Strong decision-making skills balancing business strategy and risk.

Useful experience includes:

  • Helping the business understand and oversee compliance obligations.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • An inclusive working style ensuring a safe environment for all.
  • A track record of delivering results with proper documentation.
