The opportunity

As part of the EY Insurance Technology practice, you will have the opportunity to work across a portfolio of engagements that will challenge you in areas such as Insurance Core Technology implementations, applying Blockchain technology to insurance, Mobile & Portals, and Cloud Capabilities. Our EMEIA focus means that our team has a footprint that spans several geographies in Europe, and continued investment in our practice has grown the team 30% year-on-year.

You will be working as part of an engagement team tasked with business transformation.

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with an Agile mindset, business problem-solving skills, industry knowledge of Insurance and/or Management and Technology Consulting practices to strengthen our capabilities and support our growth.

Your key responsibilities

• Managing and leading project teams within larger projects;
• Leading Scrum teams/workstreams as part of large technology programs in a cross-country model;
• Managing end-to-end project delivery within financial and time constraints;
• Ensuring high client satisfaction through quality delivery;
• Demonstrating expertise in market areas and technical skills (Policy, Billing, Claims in General Insurance or Life Insurance);
• Building trusted long-term client relationships;
• Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, supporting proposals and pre-sales;
• Developing EY solutions and supporting tools and methods;
• Supporting EY practice and people development activities (recruitment, training) and liaising with teams and specialists.

Skills and attributes for success

• Solution architecture; large-scale program delivery (agile and waterfall);
• Technology implementation (Guidewire, Fadata, Duckcreek, etc.);
• IT Strategy: leading and developing teams;

Minimum qualifications

• Experience with Target Operating Models, Process Automation, BPM, Digital Platforms, Pega, Mobile, Portals;
• Experience in Insurance via top-tier consultancy, financial services consultancy, or insurer;
• Experience in large technology implementations from a business or technical perspective;
• Successful delivery record from requirements gathering to go-live.

Preferred qualifications

• Market trend awareness and impact analysis;
• Technical skills in requirements development, software engineering, reporting, modeling, testing.
