Job description

At CNX Therapeutics, we’re building a growing European pharmaceutical business with a clear ambition: to improve access to medicines that make a meaningful difference to patients’ lives. With a diverse portfolio and an expanding global footprint, we’re continuing to grow through both our existing business and new opportunities.

Our people are central to this journey. We’re a collaborative, entrepreneurial and fast-moving organisation where individuals have the opportunity to take ownership, make an impact and help shape how we grow. Joining CNX means becoming part of an ambitious team at an exciting stage of our development, with the opportunity to contribute to both our business and the patients we ultimately serve.

The Opportunity

The Manager, Data and Analytics will turn CNX Therapeutics’ data into decisions and keep the pipelines, integrations and master data behind those decisions reliable. The role leads the development of our analytics capability across commercial, financial and operational areas.

You will work closely with Finance, Commercial, Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, IT and Leadership teams to improve visibility, enable better decision-making and embed a data-led culture across the organisation. You will also help the organisation adopt new tools, such as Snowflake, dbt, PLAIO, Extedo and AI, and show that they deliver value.

You will be responsible for analytics strategy, reporting, data platforms and integrations, master data governance and AI adoption, so that leaders and managers get accurate numbers on time and our finance, planning and regulatory systems agree with each other.

What You'll Be Doing
Data & Analytics Strategy
  • Deliver a data and analytics roadmap aligned to business priorities
  • Agree how ad hoc requests are prioritised against project work
  • Identify where better use of data can improve decisions and performance
Business Insight & Decision Support
  • Deliver insight on sales, pricing, margin and operational performance, and support Commercial on pricing, tenders and market dynamics
  • Work with FP&A and Commercial Finance to improve forecasting and analysis
  • Give senior leadership clear, data-led recommendations
Reporting, KPIs & Visualisation
  • Maintain and develop Power BI reports for Commercial, Finance, budget holders, purchase orders, IT spend and the Board
  • Standardise KPI definitions and methodology, and challenge KPIs that no one will act on
Data Platform & Pipelines
  • Run and improve the Snowflake and dbt pipelines that feed reporting
  • Make pipelines resilient to poor-quality inputs, such as emailed data
  • Document the platform and reduce dependence on any one person
System Integration
  • Build and support automated integrations within data and application ecosystem
  • Manage data mapping between systems and document who owns which data
  • Advise on integration of newly implemented systems such as PLAIO and Extedo
Master Data & Governance
  • Embed a governed process for creating SKU and supplier master data
  • Work with Commercial, Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, Finance and IT to identify and enforce required fields
  • Improve data quality, consistency and integrity across systems
Advanced Analytics
  • Develop predictive models and scenario analysis, such as demand forecasting
  • Support identification and implementation of MDM to clarify which systems of record represent the authoritative source
AI Adoption & Value
  • Run the enterprise AI pilot: rollout, guidance, features and training
  • Measure and report the return on investment, and advise on further licences, usage limits and spend
  • Raise risks such as shadow AI and regulation, and make clear that adoption is shared across functions
Stakeholder Engagement & Capability
  • Explain complex data in clear terms to non-technical colleagues and the Board
  • Train and support business users, including senior managers, to get more from Power BI and AI tools
  • Act as the bridge between technical and business teams, and report project risks and support needs early
