Job Summary

This role involves leading the Commercial Lending Direct team within Specialist Commercial Banking Sales, managing 6 colleagues to provide a remote telephony service for Commercial Lending clients. The team supports Business & Commercial Banking clients with Term Lending, Overdrafts, and Corporate Card facilities up to £250k. The role emphasizes customer focus, simplicity, and team development.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, motivate, develop, coach, and appraise team members to meet business goals.
• Develop team capabilities in proposition shaping, workflow, operational efficiencies, and compliance.
• Monitor team performance, recognize achievements, and address issues.
• Model client-centric behavior and challenge non-client-centric actions.
• Collaborate with bank RMs and ADs to maximize referrals.
• Adapt to evolving lending processes with flexibility and resilience.
