What is the opportunity? This role within the Credit Client Fulfilment team will support the Wealth Management Europe (WME) Credit team in the delivery of credit products and solutions, focusing on servicing UK Brewin Dolphin clients for new business. The role involves tasks such as preparing credit documentation, reviewing externally-drafted documentation related to credit transactions, and supporting the conditions precedent process. Additionally, it includes activities related to credit risk monitoring and control to safeguard the bank's lending activities, ensuring credit exposures are monitored and managed in accordance with the bank's policies and credit approval conditions.

What will you do?
  1. Manage and participate in core Client Fulfilment control and monitoring responsibilities, overseeing and coordinating tasks of junior team members, providing training, guidance, and coaching.
  2. Manage transactions from referral to completion and drawdown, ensuring all pre-completion steps and checks are completed.
  3. Participate with Law Group in reviewing risks associated with cross-jurisdictional structures, liaising with external counsel for legal opinions.
  4. Monitor collateral and credit limits daily to ensure compliance, escalating shortfalls or excesses as needed.
  5. Approve loan drawdowns and collateral releases, including funding, disbursement, and repayment monitoring.
  6. Drive process improvements, including streamlining and automation, to support the growth of the Credit book related to RBC Brewin Dolphin.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
  • Excellent interpersonal, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong understanding of control environment requirements and balancing this with process efficiency.
  • Experience in credit administration and/or loan documentation within a private bank.
  • Understanding of Wealth Management credit business is a plus.
Nice-to-have
  • Understanding of Wealth Management would be desirable.
