Client Assessment Team Manager (AML/KYC)
The KPMG Risk Operations function is a cornerstone of our UK business, operating from 20 UK locations and supporting KPMG Central Services. We undertake critical activities that help grow, run, and protect KPMG in the UK.

The Client Assessment Team is a key part of this process, reporting to the Chief Risk Officer and the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO). This team conducts thorough client risk assessments, including AML KYC in compliance with the Money Laundering (Transfer of the Payer) Regulations 2017 and industry guidance.
The Manager will oversee daily operations and manage the team, including onshore and offshore components. Responsibilities include managing workflow, ensuring quality and compliance with SLAs, stakeholder engagement, process improvement, and technology management as Product Owner of the KPMG Client Assessment Tool (KCAT).
The role requires experience in team management, operational excellence, and familiarity with risk systems and AML regulations. You will also produce management information, conduct performance appraisals, and support team training and development.
