Job Title: Management Assistant - HC620968

Location: Can be Andover, Basingstoke, Hart or Rushmoor

Salary: Scale 4, £26,106 - £28,653 per annum

Contract: Temporary for 12 Months - with a possibility of becoming Permanent. The decision will be made by the Manager by the end of the 12 months. Please note: a Permanent contract is not guaranteed.

About the Role

To provide a range of support services to the Senior Leadership Team of Hampshire Constabulary and Joint Operations Unit.

Key Accountabilities include but are not limited to:

  1. To act as a main point of contact for the Senior Leadership Team, maintaining electronic diaries, arranging and organising meetings and conferences. To support Senior Leaders responsible for force-wide areas of business including control strategies.
  2. To record and produce key decisions, actions, and risks at relevant meetings. To produce typed full minutes of meetings if mandated.
  3. To coordinate and liaise with internal and external key partners and stakeholders.
  4. To create and maintain a variety of computerised records and indices specific to roles and Commands.
  5. To monitor and manage Senior Leaders’ email and mailboxes, including during periods of leave and absence, and maintain GDL and Command mailboxes when applicable.

Educated to QCF Level 2 (3-5 passes including English and Mathematics) OR equivalent work experience.

Relevant secretarial or administrative experience in an office environment.

Substantial experience of typing/word processing and proficiency in document layout.

Computer literate - experienced in Microsoft Office suite: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
