Job description

Key Responsibilites:

  • Assist in the Group Supply Chain reporting processes ensuring accurate and timely submission for group consolidation each month.
  • Provide support to the Central Finance Supply Chain Reporting team, Executive Leadership Team (when required), Divisions, Senior Management and Central Budget Holders aiding the decision-making process.
  • Delivery of timely and accurate Management information to drive efficiencies throughout the business.
  • Assist in the accurate delivery of the Supply Chain and Central Service Budget and Forecast process throughout the year.
  • Responsible for adhering to key business controls in order to minimise the risk of the provision of inaccurate financial information.
  • Maintain current service levels of reporting (daily, weekly and month end activities) and continually improve to meet increasing business demands and stakeholder expectations.
  • Enabling and supporting Continuous improvement and the standardisation of relative finance processes.
  • Manage expectations of key stakeholders ensuring clear communication as to responsibilities, timescales and output.
  • Ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times due to the nature and sensitivity of data reported.
  • Assist in the Half Year and Year End External Audit reporting requests.
Key Result Areas:
  • Adherence to Financial Reporting requirements both timely and accuracy:
  • Accurate completion of daily, weekly and monthly Supply Chain reporting, activities and processes ensuring accurate consolidation of group results.
  • Completion of month end reporting and activities within group reporting timetable.
  • Assisting in all Budgets and Forecasts in the year accurately delivered on time.
  • No significant errors.
  • Key stakeholder satisfaction:
    • Supporting Effective Business Partnering.
    • Strong working relationships.
  • Contribution to achievement of team KPI's.
Relevant & Quantifiable Measures:

No direct/indirect reports or full budget responsibility.

Responsible to assisting in the delivery of Group Supply Chain and Central Service budget.

Technical Competencies & Qualifications:
  • Part-Qualified to Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA).
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written).
  • Financial Reporting experience in an International FMCG Manufacturing environment.
  • Experience of the month end close including relative transactions, activities and processes.
  • Experience in supporting Finance Business Partnering.
  • Experience in the supporting and developing implementation of Continuous Improvement and Change Management.
  • Experience in supporting effective Governance and Control.
  • Experience in preparing Management information to both Finance and Non-Finance stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of accounting and financial reporting processes linked to Group Supply Chain and Central Service.
  • Understanding of statutory, legal and fiscal requirements relating to the reporting of Group Supply Chain and Central Services.
