This role involves acting as a key partner to operations and sales teams, overseeing inventory processes, and managing a small team. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, relevant qualifications, and experience preferably within the manufacturing sector.
Sewell Wallis is partnering with a well-established multi-site manufacturer based in Kirklees, West Yorkshire, to recruit an Inventory Accountant.
In this role, you will be heavily involved in cost control, stock management, and gross margin analysis to drive efficiencies and support business decisions as a key business partner for the operations team and stakeholders.
This position requires a confident communicator who can influence and manage difficult conversations with stakeholders, working closely with the Operations & Sales teams.
The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, a proactive approach, and enjoys working with numbers. You will be required to visit manufacturing sites within 5 miles of each other, so a driving license is essential.
