Job summary

RG Consultancy is seeking a Management Accountant for a rapidly growing SME. You will lead monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and cash flow forecasting while supervising a small team of two accounts assistants.

You will report to the Financial Director and contribute to year-end and audit readiness, driving growth and process improvements within a busy finance department. The role requires CIMA/ACCA/ACA study or qualification and strong Excel/SAGE skills.

Qualifications

• Responsible for monthly Management Accounts preparation
• Balance sheet reconciliations should be performed accurately
• Handle accruals and prepayments
• Cash flow processing and forecasting to support decisions
• Monthly Profit & Loss reporting and oversight of ledgers
• Assist with year end and audit preparations
• Support finance director with process improvements and growth initiatives

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce monthly Management Accounts
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain accuracy
• Process accruals and prepayments, monitor cash flow
• Generate monthly P&L and oversee purchase/sales ledgers
• Prepare monthly payroll and assist with year-end activities
• Lead improvement projects and support audit readiness

Job description

Salary: GBP45000 - GBP50000 per annum

RG Consultancy are working with a rapidly growing business on a brand-new role for a Management Accountant who wants to develop.

You will work for a growing SME within a small finance team, report to and work closely with the Financial Director.

You will be responsible for the management accounts, day to day running of the accounts department and oversee a small team of two accounts assistants.

The Role

• Preparation and production of monthly ManagementAccounts
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Accruals and prepayments
• Cash flow processing and forecasting
• Monthly Profit & Loss reporting
• Oversea purchase ledger and sales ledger
• Preparation of monthlypayroll
• Supporting with leading projects, companygrowth and process improvements
• Assisting with year end and audit preparations
• Any other tasks to support the Finance Director as required

The Person

• Studying CIMA/ACCA/ACA - or Qualifiedaccountants
• Strong IT Skills includingSAGE 200, SAGE Payroll and strong MS Excel
