L3Harris in Portchester seeks a Management Accountant to produce monthly management accounts, budgets and financial analysis for informed decision making. You will maintain strong financial controls, support month-end close, post journals and reconciliations, and contribute to process improvements within our UK Maritime business.

Qualifications

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or equivalent experience.
• Experience in management accounting or similar finance role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and month-end processes.

Responsibilities

• Timely production of monthly management accounts.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and post journals, accruals, prepayments and provisions.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and ensure documentation.
• Maintain the general ledger and compliant financial records.
• Ensure policies are followed and SOX compliance is maintained.
• Support audit requirements and statutory accounts as needed.
• Identify improvements to financial processes and controls.
