Job summary

SRM Recruitment in Borehamwood is recruiting a Management Accountant for a privately owned business. ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified candidates with 3+ years' experience in industry or practice are encouraged to apply.

You will lead monthly management accounts across two contracting businesses, analyse P&L and balance sheets, and support the close process. The role requires strong numerical, analytical and communication skills, with experience in Power BI and COINS.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified or finalist level accountant with 3+ years' experience in industry or practice.
• Strong communicator and team player.
• Experience of Power BI or similar.

Responsibilities

• Complete and review the monthly management accounts for two large contracting businesses within the wider Group.
• Liaise with management teams to assess current and future performance of contracts.
• Monthly P&L reviews and balance sheet reconciliations; support monthly close process.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and assist with VAT returns and HMRC queries.
• Produce year-end audit packs and assist with audits; support budgeting and reforecasts.
• Ad-hoc tasks/projects and development of internal KPI/MI.
