Job description

Use your finance expertise to help create lasting social change

Blagrave Trust is looking for an experienced Management Accountant to provide high-quality financial insight, reporting and forecasting that supports strategic decision-making and maximises impact for young people and communities facing inequality.

Working closely with the Head of Operations, CEO, senior leaders and Trustees, you'll lead management accounting, budgeting, forecasting, audit and compliance activities while supporting colleagues across the organisation to make informed financial decisions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified or part qualified accountant who enjoys partnering with stakeholders, presenting financial information clearly, and using finance as a tool for positive social impact.

About Blagrave

At Blagrave we know that young people are often the most inspiring leaders of change, but can be denied access to the resources, networks, funding, and spaces that enable their ideas to take flight. That's why our mission is to empower young people who face deep-rooted inequality to lead lasting change, by investing in their leadership, their communities, and in spaces where their ideas can thrive for generations to come.

We are a funder that works alongside young people, communities and partners towards social justice. We also invest in the local youth sector, and in physical spaces; buildings that will remain rooted in communities, supporting long-term local benefit.

  • Oversee financial controls, compliance and cash flow management.
  • Support and coach colleagues involved in finance administration.
  • Act as a key financial partner across the organisation.
About You
You'll bring:
  • A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or be actively studying.
  • Experience in management accounting, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of audit, statutory reporting and financial compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex financial information into clear insights.
  • A genuine interest in how finance can drive social impact.
