Job summary

Greenwell Gleeson Ltd seeks an experienced Management Accountant to join our Gloucester team. You will prepare monthly management accounts, perform balance sheet reconciliations, and support statutory reporting obligations while partnering with site operations to drive financial improvements.

You will lead budgets and forecasts for multiple sites, monitor actual performance against KPIs, provide insights to the Senior Management Team, and help maintain robust internal controls and working

Qualifications

• Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• Strong proficiency in Excel and financial reporting systems
• Experience in financial control within a multi-site environment
• Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities and work independently
• Excellent analytical skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across the business

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations in line with group reporting deadlines.
• Maintain understanding of statutory reporting obligations and HMRC compliance.
• Analyze monthly financial performance against budget and KPIs, identifying variances and opportunities for improvements.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting for allocated sites, including annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
• Build strong relationships with operational teams to act as a trusted finance business partner.
• Keep Senior Management Team informed of key financial matters and business performance.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with year-end statutory reporting and external audits with robust working capital management.
