TheyDo is seeking a Management Accountant to cover maternity leave from January 2027 to August 2027. You will run month-end close, manage invoicing and expenses, and support Dutch tax filings while ensuring accurate financial reporting across the business.

The role is fully remote, with a strong emphasis on owning processes and improving financial operations in a fast‑growing, international environment.

• 2 - 4 years of post-qualification experience.
• Startup/scale-up experience (essential for understanding how we operate).

As we scale, our finance operations need the same level of clarity. We’re looking for a Management Accountant to cover maternity leave from January 2027 to August 2027 . You’ll keep our finance operations running and the numbers right while our Management Accountant is away.

What you’ll do

You’ll own TheyDo’s day-to-day finance operations for the length of the cover. That means running month-end, invoicing customers, handling Dutch tax and compliance, and making sure the business keeps operating with confidence.

This is a hands‑on, roll‑up‑your‑sleeves role. You’ll step into processes that are already in place, so you’ll need to get up to speed quickly and take ownership from early on. You’ll keep things running smoothly and improve them where you see gaps.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Running month-end reporting and bookkeeping.

This role suits someone who can land quickly, own the finance function without hand-holding, and leave it in better shape than they found it.

What we’re looking for
