Job summary

Seymour John in Gloucester is seeking a Management Accountant for a permanent, onsite role, offering up to £50,000 per year. You will support the Director/Senior Business Administration Manager by ensuring timely production of accounting reports for management and governance.

The role focuses on monthly management accounts, board reporting, and year-end statutory work, with extensive balance sheet and cost variance analysis on current projects.

Qualifications

• Experience managing accounts for £100M+ turnover is an advantage.
• Manufacturing experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Reporting analysis to board across cost centers.
• Month end reporting of all financial matters.
• Preparation of year end statutory accounts and supporting data for submission to audit partner.
• Balance sheet account reporting.
• Calculation of WIP & deferred income on monthly basis on current projects.
• Cost of sales and cost variance reporting, including manufacturing and purchase price variance & standard cost analysis.
• Monthly GBP Account revaluation & exchange rate analysis.
• Company credit card analysis of expenditure and expense claims.
• Accruals and prepayments.
