Howden in Milton Keynes is seeking a Management Accountant on a full-time fixed-term contract running to March 2028. You will own month-end activity, prepare journals, reconciliations and reporting, and ensure strong financial control in a hybrid role with three days in the office weekly.

You will support VAT/tax returns for overseas entities, provide ad hoc analysis, and drive improvements in reporting processes.

Competenze

• Professional accountancy qualification or finalist status with ACCA/CIMA
• Strong written and verbal English with numerical analysis skills
• Experience in management accounting and month-end activities

Mansioni

• Produce monthly management accounts and reporting information accurately and to deadlines
• Prepare general ledger and month-end journals, including intercompany and payroll entries
• Deliver monthly revenue reporting and reconciliations
• Own balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Support VAT and tax returns for overseas entities and branches
• Provide ad hoc management reporting and financial analysis for planning
• Improve reporting solutions and accounting processes for efficiency
• Maintain financial records and process documentation across systems
• Monitor accounting regulations and reflect changes in day-to-day activity
• Share knowledge and mentor colleagues as needed
