Job summary

2i Recruit Ltd is seeking a hands-on finance professional to blend core accounting with financial analysis, forecasting, cash flow management and process improvement. You will support leadership with performance insights, risk management and sustainable growth across the organisation.

The role offers hybrid working, pension, study support where applicable, and opportunities to work closely with senior leadership in a growing business.

Qualifications

• Qualified or part-qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
• Experience producing monthly management accounts.
• Strong financial reporting, forecasting, and cash flow management skills.
• Experience supporting audits and statutory reporting requirements.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
• Strong Excel and financial systems capability.
• Exposure to integrated finance and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts.
• Produce variance analysis and provide commentary on performance.
• Prepare board and management reporting packs (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, KPIs).
• Explain financial results and forecasts to leadership for decision-making.
• Deliver reliable financial reporting to support informed decisions.
• Maintain rolling forecasts and cash flow projections.
• Support annual budgeting process with robust analysis.
• Develop financial models and scenario planning tools.
• Identify risks and opportunities through forward-looking analysis.
• Coordinate audit requests and assist in year-end processes.
• Support improvements to finance systems and data quality.
