An integral role within the Accounting & Finance department, the Finance Manager will be responsible for managing financial operations and providing strategic financial planning and support to the team. The role demands a strong understanding of finance management with a focus on cost control, budgeting, and financial reporting.

Description

1. Oversee the financial operations of the organisation. (Reporting to the Directors)
2. Develop and monitor budgets, and implement cost control measures.
3. Present financial reports and business forecasts to senior management.
4. Produce Management Accounts and liaise with the external Accountants when required.
5. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
6. Work with other departments to identify financial trends and opportunities for improvement.
7. Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal controls.
8. Provide leadership and support to the finance team.

Profile

A successful 'Finance Manager' should possess:

1. CIMA / ACCA Part Qualified / QBE
2. Excellent analytical, decision-making, and leadership abilities.
3. Good communication skills and ability to work with key stakeholders.
4. Experience with Xero software would be beneficial.
5. Experience in an SME environment.
6. Some supervisory experience.
