Responsibilities

• Attend and contribute to regular management meetings alongside senior business figures, supporting key decisions and strategic direction.
• Back the annual budget process, ensuring our budgets are clear, achievable, and closely connected to tangible benefits and deliverables.
• Prepare vital regulatory submissions to Ofgem, ensuring compliance and excellence in all our financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant or near finalist (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) who can confidently partner across the business, engaging with senior management and executive teams.
• Ability to translate complex financial data into valuable insights that drive business performance.
• Advanced Excel skills, such as PivotTables, SUMIFs, and XLOOKUPs, to streamline and automate repeated processes.
• Familiarity with SQL, PowerQuery, PowerBI, and other AI tools is an advantage, as is experience working within regulated industries.
