I am currently working exclusively with a large organisation based in East Lancashire, who are seeking a Management Accountant (Assistant) within the team. This is a newly created role within an expanding company. This would be an excellent opportunity for a Part-Qualified candidate looking to accelerate their career within Finance.
Your new role
Full-time permanent role, Monday-Friday with flexibility of hours.
Support with the preparation of monthly lead schedules and support with any statutory audit requirements.
Contribute to the preparation and review of P&Ls to ensure the accuracy of managing reports.
Deal with large volumes of data.
Work collaboratively with the transactions team to ensure a smooth month-end.
Assist in the accurate production of monthly and quarterly reports.
Production and posting of journals including accruals and prepayments.
Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are prepared on a monthly basis.
Assist with all ad hoc project work as and when required.
What you'll need to succeed
Qualified or Part-Qualified ACCA/CIM/ACA wanting to progress. *Candidates with degree exemptions will also be considered.
Proficiency with Excel and the ability to work with large volumes of data.
SAP experience is desirable but not essential.
The ideal candidate will have worked within a large organisation and want to grow and develop their career in finance.
