Qualifications

Job description

Robert Half are proud to be exclusively partnered with a growing global business in Cambridge who are recruiting for a Management Accountant on a 9 month Fixed Term Contract. There is a strong likelihood of a permanent opportunity beyond the initial contract period. This role has a budgeted salary of £35000-38000 per annum. Candidates are required in-office 4 days a week initially, with flex down to 3 days after an initial onboarding period.

Responsibilities:

-Ensuring that all UK transactions are properly registered and coordinating with subsidiaries to accurately register inter-company transactions

-Ensure the reconciliation of intercompany transactions monthly, following the inter-co transfer pricing policy

-Monthly profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow reporting (individual and consolidated)

-Prepare reports for investors and the Board - month end packs

-Submitting VAT and Corporation Tax returns, in coordination with the Head of Finance and external advisors when needed

-Reporting on actuals vs. budgets

-Generating the monthly UK payroll calculations in coordination with advisors where needed

-Assist with the annual financial auditing process

-Ensure proper control of accounts receivables and payables and timely invoicing to customers.

-Developing internal and external relationships with the Management Team and subsidiaries' teams, external Advisors and Auditors

-Upload and process payments for UK payroll, staff expenses and suppliers

-Perform ad-hoc administrative tasks as needed

Experience required:

-Currently studying an Accountancy Qualification e.g. CIMA/ACCA/ACA

-Fully qualified AAT members are also encouraged to apply

-Candidates are required to have some experience in supporting month end procedures

-Candidates must be immediately available or on short term notice
