Job description

We are seeking to recruit a Management Accountant to work within our Finance team on a 2-year Fixed term contract to support the business during an ERP implementation. The overall purpose of this role is to support the Financial Controller with the preparation of financial statements and forecasts, as well as calculating Publishers charges and payments.

The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified Accountant with experience working within a finance team and possess excellent analytical, Excel, and customer service skills.

This position involves:

1. Production of the monthly Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet
2. Understanding the MDL business to provide analytical support
3. Financial planning and analysis
4. Ledger and overhead management
5. CAPEX management and ROI assessment

Ideal candidate qualifications:

• A CIMA or ACCA qualification is essential, with CIMA preferred
• Previous experience in an accounting environment
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High level of integrity
• Valid driver’s license, as presence at our Swansea site is required

Hours are from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, based in Basingstoke.
