Management Accountant – Worksop – £35,000 - £40,500 + Study Support

Our client is looking for a candidate with experience in the month-end process, including producing management accounts, journaling, and variance analysis. Management Accountant Responsibilities:

• Complete monthly management accounts for multiple contracts
• Produce accurate and detailed P&L statements, variance reports, and MI packs for each contract
• Review revenue and costs
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations
• Own budgets and rolling forecasts
• Prepare month-end trading packs
• Collaborate with Operational Managers to drive monthly forecasting and efficiencies for their contracts
• Implement profit improvement plans and drive efficiencies
• Prepare ad-hoc analysis and reports as required
• Ensure contract controls are in place for accurate accounting

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong IT skills, including Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with non-finance operational staff
• Currently studying ACCA, CIMA, or ACA
• Experience in preparing management accounts under tight deadlines
• Driven, passionate, and enthusiastic about the role
